Comarch, Hatif Libya and Makman Technology Consulting have agreed to continue their cooperation by signing a Proof of Concept (PoC) agreement in Tripoli focused on validating selected Business Support System (BSS) capabilities supporting fibre-based broadband services. The new PoC also follows an OSS pilot project contract signed earlier in 2025.

The BSS initiative builds on the partners’ ongoing collaboration, following a strategic partnership forged in June 2025 at DTW Copenhagen. Its aim is to accelerate the adoption of autonomous networks and AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) frameworks for telecom operators, with initial activities focused on creating a zero-touch network-as-a-service (NaaS) transformation roadmap for Hatif Libya.

In October 2025, the three companies launched an OSS transformation pilot project aimed at advancing network automation, autonomous operations, and operational modernization in Libya’s telecommunications sector.

Following the success of our OSS pilot, this PoC will serve as a joint validation phase, assessing how advanced BSS capabilities can support end-to-end service delivery, enhance cooperation with ISP partners, and further streamline operational processes. It reflects our continued commitment to working closely with customers and partners to validate practical solutions in a real operational environment” said Paweł Workiewicz, Chief Commercial Officer at the Telecommunications Division at Comarch.

The collaboration combines Comarch’s telecom software expertise in BSS with Makman’s transformation and advisory capabilities, and Hatif Libya’s operational and business context as a key national operator responsible for modernizing Libya’s communications infrastructure. Our focus is on aligning technology, processes and business objectives through a pragmatic and phased approach,” added Luqman Shantal, CEO of Makman Technology Consulting.

The agreement further strengthens cooperation between the parties, supporting the development of broadband services in Libya and paving the way for wider adoption of BSS/OSS automation and strategic digital transformation across the North African telecom market.
